SecurityHQ are looking for a technical talent, who can help grow our existing channel partner and direct portfolio opportunities. By having the ability to self-develop, learn and be a flexible team player. Always curious to ask the right questions, be actively engaged with the daily sales team duties and develop your skills. You will be the subject matter expert for our sales team serving our customers and prospects for your assigned region.
For this role you will need to be an open minded, quick critical thinking and proactive person with outstanding communication skills. You must be able to master our service offerings, so that you can assist our sales team with designing the perfect solutions for our customers. Your technical knowledge, presentation and interpersonal skills will set you apart from other candidates.
As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Technical ownership and support of a sales opportunity.
- Providing technical pre-sales support and resources such as presentations to our current and prospect customers.
- Liaising, mentoring and supporting our sales teams to win, grow and expand accounts by addressing technical challenges (Mid to Large Enterprise accounts).
- Mastering our product and service offerings, technologies, business model and platforms.
- Partnering with prospect stakeholders to address complex technical or business challenges.
- Working with internal stakeholders and product managers to drive improvements.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently upheld.
- Arranging and conducting technical training for our partners and customers.
- Maintain strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the respective territory.
- Ownership of planning and delivery of proof of concepts as needed with prospective partners and customers from success-criteria scoping till successful completion of all requirements.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- During the first 3-months period, you’d need to consume the product and service based (instructor-led / online) trainings and pass their associated exams.
- You will need to pass “CompTIA Security+” certification within the first 6 months of your hiring.
- Responsible for presenting, demonstrating and architecting solution proposals tailored around customer requirements leveraging the portfolio of SecurityHQ MSSP Services.
- Develop productive and professional client relationships instilling trust and confidence.
- Develop technical product knowledge to a high level, enabling you to make effective sales presentations, demonstrating how our products and services can meet the security needs of our potential clients.
- Accurately document your sales activity using HubSpot CRM to enable other team members to process orders and plan work accordingly.
- Coordinate with our CMO to support on-going marketing activity such as attendance at breakfast seminars and exhibitions.
- Qualify, prepare and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
- Scope, size and generate Bill of Materials “BoM” for the Sales Account Manager.
- Proactively follow up with partners/customers and account.
