Job Description

Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for cyber security? SecurityHQ is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our cyber security service portfolio. This pivotal role focuses on expanding our client base in the Midwest USA, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving recurring revenue through strategic engagement and solution-based selling.

You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle, and ensuring client success through proactive account management and collaboration with internal teams. You’ll also be supported by two Business Development Representatives and a dedicated marketing team for outbound lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Prospect Engagement: Identify and approach potential clients aligned with our ideal customer profile, initiating meaningful conversations that lead to qualified opportunities.
• Sales Ownership: Lead the end-to-end sales process from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Account Growth: Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
• Solution Presentation: Deliver compelling demonstrations and proposals tailored to client-specific challenges, showcasing the value of our managed security services.
• Revenue Generation: Drive monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing engagements.
• CRM & Forecasting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions to support forecasting and strategic planning.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical delivery and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
