Dubai, UAE – 4 June 2026
SecurityHQ has appointed Aaron Hambleton to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Product & Services, a move that reflects how the company is reshaping its product leadership to deliver on its Security Performance Engineering approach.
Hambleton takes on broad scope in the role, overseeing product and service innovation across the SecurityHQ portfolio, including SHQ Response, the company’s platform for security visibility, investigation, workflow, and reporting. The appointment formalises a trajectory he has been building since joining SecurityHQ in 2020, having progressed from frontline operational leadership into regional strategy across the Middle East and Africa before assuming global advisory responsibilities.
That career arc is significant. Over twelve years in cybersecurity, spanning threat intelligence, offensive security, exposure management, and customer delivery, Hambleton has developed a perspective that is genuinely uncommon in product leadership: a practical understanding of the distance between what security programmes promise and what they actually deliver.
From noise to signal
The problem Hambleton has identified is not a lack of tools or data. It is the absence of a coherent path from alert to decision to measurable improvement. His stated priority is building services that integrate threat intelligence, exposure context, and response capability into a system that gets smarter over time, rather than a collection of functions that operate in isolation.
SecurityHQ CEO Feras Tappuni welcomed the appointment: “Aaron brings the operational experience, threat intelligence perspective, and judgment needed to connect internal signals with external risk, helping customers make faster decisions and achieve more holistic security outcomes.”
Regional foundation, global remit
Leading SecurityHQ’s Middle East and Africa operations gave Hambleton direct responsibility for service delivery, customer success, and operational performance across a complex regional market. He developed technology partnerships designed to extend visibility and control, and expanded the company’s service portfolio with modular capabilities built around how security teams actually work. That body of work contributed to SecurityHQ earning recognition from IDC as a top MDR provider in the Middle East across two consecutive years.
What this signals for customers
The appointment reflects SecurityHQ’s broader direction. Security Performance Engineering is not a feature set; it is a different standard for what a security partner should be accountable for. Rather than maintaining a baseline, the goal is security that compounds in effectiveness, where each decision contributes to a measurably stronger posture over time.
Hambleton’s remit is to translate that commitment into the product and service experience, ensuring customers can demonstrate tangible, ongoing improvement, not just continued coverage.
